Dr. Hilal Uysal graduated from Istanbul University Florence Nightingale School of Nursing in 1993. Since 2003, she has worked as a faculty member at Istanbul University and Istanbul University-Cerrahpasa, Florence Nightingale Faculty of Nursing. Since 2022, she has been serving as an Associate Professor at Bartin University, Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Internal Medicine Nursing. She is a member of numerous national and international associations and is an active participant in the Turkish Society of Cardiology (TSC) Cardiovascular Nursing and Technicians Working Group, where she has taken part in courses and symposiums. She also serves as an Assistant Editor of the Turkish Society of Cardiology Cardiovascular Nursing Journal. Between 2017 and 2020, she was a member of the Cardiac Rehabilitation Board under the TSC Board of Directors. For many years, she has worked as an instructor in basic first aid and first aid instructor training programs. She currently serves as an educator at Bartin University's First Aid Training and Instructor Center and is also a member of the Addiction Prevention Office. Additionally, she continues her role as the Head of the Nursing Department at Bartin University's Faculty of Health Sciences.
Research Interest
Dr. Hilal Uysal's areas of interest include cardiovascular nursing, coronary intensive care nursing, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, education and counseling for cardiovascular patients, cardiac arrest, respiratory disease nursing, principles of nutrition, and basic and advanced cardiac life support.
